Superior Homes to open tourist lodge

August 14, 2018

Real estate development company Superior Homes Kenya is the latest entrant into the lucrative holiday homes business.

The developer is set to open a Ksh800 million property in Nakuru targeting increasing demand for home styled tourism.

The Lake Elementaita Mountain Lodge features a conference center 50 villas, restaurant, gym and spa.

Superior Homes managing director Ian Henderson said the property is expected to upscale the county’s tourism facilities given the region’s attractiveness to both domestic and foreign tourists.

“With the tourism sector projected to grow in double digits in 2018, the lodge is a great addition to the county. To us, this is more than a resort. It is a retreat place away from the Nairobi city hustle and bustle,” Mr Henderson said.

Superior Homes is betting on the completion of the second phase of the standard gauge railway project to also drive tourist numbers in the area.

I hope that you are all keeping safe and as we all hope that the current Covid pandemic is contained and the economy opens up again, you may wish to consider a house move. With 550 houses on 150 acres and an average of less than 4 houses per acre, Greenpark is one of the safest communities in Kenya. Fresh air, wide open spaces and a steady breeze from the nearby Lukenya Hills all help to reduce the risk of any contamination. Our show homes are open 7 days and you are most welcome to visit so long as you respect all social distancing rules. Stay safe Ian Henderson, Managing Director
