Firm in Sh30b housing plan

Superior Homes Kenya plans to invest Sh30 billion in putting up a new 3,000-unit housing project in Athi River.

The gated community development targeting the middle class will be on 337 acres of land that the real estate developer is set to acquire from East African Portland Cement Company (EAPCC). It is adjacent to Greenpark Estate along Mombasa Road.

This follows Court of Appeal’s order to the cement maker to sell the land to the developer in line with a sale agreement signed in 2005.

“We have almost exhausted development on the 163 acres at Greenpark Estate and the new land will allow us to expand our vision of providing a truly world class master-planned and sustainable development,” said Managing Director Ian Henderson.

The firm purchased the land on which it has been developing Greenpark Estate from EAPCC in 2005 with an option to buy the adjacent plot.

Covid-19 Message
I hope that you are all keeping safe and as we all hope that the current Covid pandemic is contained and the economy opens up again, you may wish to consider a house move. With 550 houses on 150 acres and an average of less than 4 houses per acre, Greenpark is one of the safest communities in Kenya. Fresh air, wide open spaces and a steady breeze from the nearby Lukenya Hills all help to reduce the risk of any contamination. Our show homes are open 7 days and you are most welcome to visit so long as you respect all social distancing rules. Stay safe Ian Henderson, Managing Director
